Our Story

Built on Construction Experience, Not Retail Training

Kwikze Paint started in 2016 when Abe saw a gap in Houston's paint retail market. With a civil engineering degree and 8 years of hands-on construction experience, he understood coatings and substrates at a technical level. Most paint store employees read product labels. Abe could explain why a specific primer matters on Houston's concrete block versus fiber cement, or why Aura outperforms Regal Select on sun-exposed stucco.

That technical foundation shaped how Kwikze operates. Every store staffs people who can advise on surface preparation, coating compatibility, and product selection for Houston's specific conditions: year-round humidity, intense UV, hurricane-season wind-driven rain, and the salt air that reaches well inland from the Gulf.

Today, Kwikze serves Houston from three locations: Katy/Cypress on Fry Road, West Houston on Westheimer near the Galleria, and Southwest Houston on Beechnut. The stores carry the full Benjamin Moore product line: Aura, Regal Select, Ben, Advance, Arborcoat, and Ultra Spec, plus professional painting supplies.
